When Dreams and Destiny Collides is a great thought provoking word. How we respond to circumstances is a component of life that deserves deep consideration. I was taken back by statement about lies that we believe actually taking a piece out of us. I am visual and that's so insightful. The life stories and dreams shared in Becky and Gary's life were so redemptive. My favorite is the story about little Becky writing her prayer to God. Oh my. I often ask God to wash my innocence again to be like a child. That story was rich and sweet. Many people will be encouraged to go for it with their dreams and destiny because of this work. Thankful . Barbara and Glenn Moore

Dr. Becky's book is a blessing and a breath of fresh air. She shares personal stories that bring her book to life and that give us insight into why she was able to write this book with such authority. God's spirit moves off of her pages and into my own heart as I ponder the questions she asks at the end of each chapter. Clearly this was a God-breathed book, and I am deeply touched by reading it. Has what you neeed

Purchased for my son, for bartending school and after, this has about every recipe you need. It's not a big book, which works well. You know, I thought I remembered that this was on a sort of ring binder, which made it even better as it would always lie flat. I hope I'm not wrong about that as it's been awhile since I purchased it, but I do remember being happy about that. If I'm wrong, sorry! :)

About the Author
Robert S. Feldman is Professor of Psychology and Associate Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. A recipient of the College Distinguished Teacher Award, he teaches psychology classes ranging in size from 15 to nearly 500 students. During the course of more than two decades as a college instructor, he has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at Mount Holyoke College, Wesleyan University, Virginia Commonwealth University, in addition to the University of Massachusetts.

Professor Feldman, who initiated the Minority Mentoring Program at the University of Massachusetts, also has served as a Hewlett Teaching Fellow and Senior Online Teaching Fellow. He initiated distance learning courses in psychology at the University of Massachusetts

A Fellow of both the American Psychological Association and the Association for Psychological Science, Professor Feldman received a B.A. with High Honors from Wesleyan University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a winner of a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar and Lecturer award, and he has written more than 100 books, book chapters, and scientific articles. He has edited Development of Nonverbal Behavior in Children (Springer-Verlag), Applications of Nonverbal Behavioral Theory and Research (Erlbaum), and co-edited Fundamentals of Nonverbal Behavior (Cambridge University Press). He is also author of Child Development, Understanding Psychology, and P.O.W.E.R. Learning: Strategies for Success in College and Life. His books have been translated into a number of languages, including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, and Japanese. His research interests include honesty and deception in everyday life and the use of nonverbal behavior in impression management, and his research has been supported by grants from the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Institute on Disabilities and Rehabilitation Research.

Professor Feldman loves music, is an enthusiastic pianist, and enjoys cooking and traveling. He has three children, and he and his wife, a psychologist, live in Amherst, Massachusetts, in a home overlooking the Holyoke mountain range.

I bought the e-book version for my class and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use in the Kindle app on my iPad Mini. I have another app and textbook that I am using with another service and it is terrible in comparison!

The book itself is also easy to read and, overall, enjoyable. Is it one I'd read again and again? No. But the ease in which it discusses the topic of lifespans is helpful and enjoyable if you have to read it for class.

The condition of this book is dismal. The binding is coming apart. Cover is clinging to book and the cover has been sliced with a box cutter.

This book clearly states not for sale, Instructor review ...

This book clearly states not for sale, Instructor review copy, Protected by U.S. Copyright as well as having warnings not to sell it on the world wide web that were blacked out on the cover and inside pages. The back cover also clearly states NOT FOR SALE Job Control #50058.
The time it took to cover these warnings with black tape makes it clear that it was intentional and the book was sold illegally.
This book should have never been sold, and I am now unable to resell it once I have finished the course.
